Appreciation Award Accorded to Broward Area Agency on Aging Advocates

The Areawide Council on Aging will honor four members of the Board at its 30th Annual Installation Dinner, on Thursday, Dinner1January 21, at Diamante’s Banquet Center in Tamarac.

All of the individuals have served on the Council for greater than 20 years. They include: Alan Brass, CPA (25 years); Joel S. Fass, Esq. (22 years); Audrey Millsaps (26 years); and Jack Tobin (23 years). Each is a Past President of the planning, coordinating, and funding body.

Also being honored at the highly anticipated event are: Della McCurdy, of Florida Power & Light, Outgoing Advisory Council Chair; Shelly Greenberg, Supervisor, North Broward Memory Disorder Center, Project Director of the Year; Broward Commissioner Ilene Lieberman, Elected Official of the Year; June McCarthy, Co-Owner, Affordable Medical Supply, Volunteer of the Year; Cooper City, Miramar, and Wilton Manors, 30 Consecutive Full Fair Share Contributors; Lauderhill and Oakland Park, 25 Consecutive Full Fair Share Contributors; and City of Plantation, 5 Consecutive Full Fair Share Contributor.
