Notter announce changes to the District’s Board meetings.

The starting time for regular School Board meetings is being moved from 10:15 a.m. to 9:45 a.m., beginning Tuesday, March 2, 2010. If necessary, each will begin with a special School Board meeting for expulsions before moving on to the regular open meeting.

Structured changes in the meeting include the following:

9:30 a.m.       Special School Board Meeting for Expulsions

9:45 a.m.       Regular School Board Meeting

9:45 a.m.       Committee Reports (If there is a need for a report to be done in the afternoon, the Chair will facilitate.)

1:00 p.m.       Public Speakers

Time certain items and presentations will be scheduled to follow public speakers.

The Board may further recommend a change to the policy that allows for additional flexibility in the placement of committee reports and public speakers.
