Coral Spring’s “Rockin’ Holiday Parade” Dec 16th

The 2009 Holiday Parade will feature decorated floats and other entries with a musical theme, and will proceed along Sample Road from Coral Springs Drive to City Hall.

Traditionally, the parade draws thousands of spectators and more than 75 floats, bands and walking groups. All groups, including local schools, civic organizations, and businesses are welcome to participate.

Spectators should plan to make a night of it, as businesses along the parade route are encouraged to stay open the night of the holiday parade to serve those watching the parade.

Sponsorships are now available at the Band level for $500 and the Mayor’s Cup level for $1,000, and are a great way to promote your business to thousands of local consumers.

Please note that Sample Road west of University Drive and east of NW 110th Avenue, and Coral Springs Drive north of NW 29th Street and south of NW 37th Street, will be closed on the night of the parade from 5 p.m. until approximately 10 p.m.

To find out about becoming a parade volunteer, call Volunteer Services at 954-346-4430. Vendor spaces are $30 for non-profit and $75 for businesses. For vendor information, call 954-345-2204.

In case of inclement weather, the parade will be held on Thursday, December 17. For more information on participating in the 2009 Holiday Parade, call 954-345-2112 or visit www.CoralSprings.org/holidayparade.
