City of Parkland Food Drive: OCT 27th to NOV 13th
Times are tough and the City of Parkland and city staff are giving back to those in need, please join us in collecting food for the Daily Bread Food Bank. Starting October 27th we will be taking food donations at the following locations: City Hall, Parks & Recreation Amphitheater, Library, Public Works Building & the YMCA. Healthy Lifestyle Class: WED, OCT 28
This new program will be held on the fourth Wednesday of each month from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. These are free classes held by instructors from the Acupuncture Wellness Center of Coral Springs to educate the audience and promote healthy living from a holistic approach. Teen Halloween Party at the YMCA: FRI OCT 30, 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM
The Parks and Recreation Department in conjunction with the YMCA will be having a Teen Halloween Dance. Teen’s ages 11-16 are invited to participate in this spooky event consisting of music, games, tattoos, fortune telling, candy & more. Click here for more details Teen Nights

Senior in Class Program: Senior Self-Defense TUES, NOV 2
Evolution Martial Arts School will teach class participants several defense techniques. This class is free of charge to Parkland residents 62 and older and will take place in the Parkland Library from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. Click here for more details Senior Programs
Winter Talent Showcase Auditions: NOV 3, 4, 10, 17
Parkland’s Teen Advisory Group will be hosting its Third Annual Holiday Show at Aston Gardens showcasing local talent for the Aston Gardens’ residents. We are looking for local talent of all ages to perform. Auditions will be held on Nov. 3rd, 4th, 10th, & 17th from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Parkland Amphitheater.
