Color printing is here. The Library’s computers can now print in color ($0.50 per page) as well as black and white ($0.15 per page). We are pleased to bring you this new service.

Adult Croquet Class: WED DEC 16

Holiday Gift Wrap-A-Thon: DEC 16, 22 & 23 The Teen Advisory Group will be hosting a Holiday Gift Wrap-A-Thon on December 16, 22 & 23. To be held in the Parkland Library Meeting Room 12PM-5PM on each date. The students will be wrapping gifts for the winter holidays for a reasonable fee. City of Parkland & JM Lexus Comedy Showcase: SAT DEC 19

Winter Tennis Camp
The United States Tennis Federation (USTF) will be holding the 2009 Winter Tennis Camp at the Terramar Park Tennis Center on December 21st – January 1st.

Winter Camp 9am – 12pm

Week I (Dec 21-24) – $175/wk or $50/day
Week II (Dec 28-Jan 1) – $200/wk or $50/day
Tournament Squad Camp 4pm – 7pm (Advanced Players Only)
Week I (Dec 21-24) – $200/wk or $60/day
Week II (Dec 28-Jan 1) – $250wk or $60/day
The United States Tennis Federation Winter Camp is for all junior players of all levels of ability. The camp is designed to help students improve their tennis skills while having fun. Each day the teaching staff will emphasize tennis fundamentals, strategy and sportsmanship. Participants will be carefully grouped by staff on the basis of skill and age. AARP Driver Safety Course: JAN 6 & JAN 8The AARP Driver Safety Course is a 6 hour course presented in 2 days (3 hours each day). For participants 50 and older. The cost to attend the class is $12.00 for members and $14.00 for non-members. Advance Registration is required. City of Parkland & JM Lexus Concert Series & 3RD Annual Chili Cook-off: JAN 9th
Bring your Boots & Cowboy Hats!!! The City of Parkland and JM Lexus present Sweetwater Junction Band, along with our annual Chili Cook-off on Saturday, January 9th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. This is a free performance at the Pine Trails Park Amphitheater. Come out and join your neighbors for this spectacular family event.
