Oakland Park lowers trash pick up fees

The City Commission recently approved a reduction in residential and commercial Solid Waste Cart fees. City utility bills will reflect the new Solid Waste rates effective October 1, 2009.  The new rate structure will be:

Old Rates                                                                                                                                            New Rates

Residential Cart & Recycling Service

$32.95 per month                                                                                         $25.00 per month

2^nd Cart  -  $16.43 per month                                                                  $12.45 per month

Commercial Cart Service

$32.95 per month                                                                                      $25.00 per month

2^nd Cart – $16.43 per month                                                                  $12.45 per month
