Lauderdale Lakes teams up with Broward Health for educational seminars

Lauderdale Lakes, Fla. – Broward Health Gold Coast Home Health Services and the City of Lauderdale Lakes is hosting a series of community education seminars to provide awareness and education on healthcare and skilled nursing resources available in the local community. The following four community education events are being held at The City of Lauderdale Lakes Resource Center at 4320 NW 36th St, Lauderdale Lakes, FL 33319:

Broward Health Gold Coast Home Health Services’ community education seminar series are designed to leverage our community ties with Broward County’s faith/community based organizations as well as municipalities in our service area. Broward Health Gold Coast Home Health Services and The City of Lauderdale Lakes have leveraged their cultural competence to reach underserved seniors and caregivers of people coping with the onset of Alzheimer’s disease. The City of Lauderdale Lakes senior community has a well-defined need to obtain pertinent information on access to viable healthcare options accessible within Broward Health Gold Coast Home Health Services and Broward Health Hospice of Gold Coast.

“The City of Lauderdale Lakes’ seniors is a great group of seniors that relayed good questions and viewpoints on their position concerning home healthcare and what home healthcare means to them,” said Kermit Springstead, administrator of BHGCHHS. “Within our home health operation, we want our community to know that we are a support resource for them to use when decisions need to be made within their families concerning their care”.
