By Jose Lambiet, GossipExtra - The chi-chi Fisher Island Club has just filed a lawsuit against The Real Housewives of Miami star Alexia Echevarria‘s lobbyist husband, and 13 other members, for non-payment of club fees!
The lawsuits, filed in batches Jan. 2 and 7, seek to recoup millions!
The club’s lawyer didn’t return calls and Bernard Lackner, its CEO, claimed in a statement that he wants to keep “all club matters private.”
Yet, the lawsuits target folks who are anything but private, including lobbyist Herman Echevarria, Alexia’s husband; Market America founder James Ridinger; sugar baron Alfy Fanjul; downtown Miami developer Masoud Shojaee; former ambassador Paul Cejas; and others.
