With the holiday season quickly approaching, The Salvation Army of Broward County needs to hire 125 energetic and outgoing, seasonal employees to help with fundraising efforts through its beloved, annual bell ringing campaign.
The Salvation Army will be hosting a job fair for full-time seasonal Bell Ringers. They are seeking high energy, friendly and outgoing sales-minded individuals dedicated to helping with fundraising efforts.
The bell ringers will be working round the clock, ringing their shiny bells with the hopes of catching the attention and generosity of people walking by. Bell ringers will be paid $8.00 an hour and may be eligible for daily and seasonal incentives.
Interested candidates must be available to work Monday – Saturday for ten to twelve hour shifts beginning, as soon as November 16 and running through December 24.

WHY: Each year, thousands of Salvation Army Red Kettles serve as collection stations around the world beginning in November, and continuing through Christmas Eve. Donations to the Red Kettles stay local, supporting programs in the communities in which they were received.
Kettles now are used in such distant lands as Korea, Japan, and in many European countries. Public contributions to the kettles enable The Salvation Army to bring the spirit of Christmas to those who would otherwise be forgotten.
