Halloween Business Expo
The Business Expo is open from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM during the Halloween Blast, Saturday, October 27th, Sabal Pines Park (5005 NW 38th Avenue). Coconut Creek businesses and Chamber members $50; all other businesses $100. City will provide trick or treat bags. The little ones can go Trick or Treating at the booths in the Expo. Great opportunity to reach up to 10,000 potential customers for a small investment.
Scary Fun for Little Ones - Nature center offers pre-Halloween event geared to ages 2-11 -
WHAT: Fern Forest Nature Center in Coconut Creek will its popular annual program Ghosts and Goblins Family Fun Night, for ages 2 to 11 accompanied by an adult, from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, October 26. Sink Your Fangs into Seminole Casino Coconut Creek’s Halloween Costume Contest on Oct. 27 to Win Your Share of $4,500 in Cash and Prizes
Seminole Casino Coconut Creek is calling all guys and ghouls for a howlin’ good time during its annual Halloween Costume Contest with a total of $4,500 in cash and prizes up for grabs on Saturday, October 27 at 8:30 p.m. In celebration of the haunted holiday, the contest will award the top three costumes in each category of Scary, Funny and Most Original.
First place winners will be awarded with $1,000 cash, while second place will earn $300 free play and third place will receive $200 free play, for each of the three categories. Participants will be judged based on the overall look and creativity of the costume, and winners will be selected based on the decision of the judges.
The competition is open to all those who hold a Seminole Player’s Club Card, which are available free to all visitors 21 and older. Participants must register in front of the CenterStage at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek between 6:30 p.m. – 8:15 p.m. on October 27. For all entries, please remember that good taste must be used in the creation and presentation of costumes. No sharp objects on costumes or props and real weapons are strictly prohibited.

Haunted House set for October 26 and 27
The City’s annual haunted house is scheduled for Friday, October 26 from 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, October 27 from 2 to 7:30 p.m. at the Coral Springs Gymnasium. The cost is $5 per child, $2 per adult.
Trick-or-treaters will wind through the various Haunted House rooms and then have a chance to play on bounce houses and slides. Costumes are encouraged. Trick-or-treaters will get their share of candy as they leave.

Trunk or Treat on Halloween Street
The City of Pompano Beach is calling all cars for our first Trunk or Treat on Halloween Street Event! A Trunk or Treat car decorating contest will be held at the Halloween event which will be on Friday, October 26th. The Trunk or Treat event will take place across from City Hall at 100 West Atlantic Boulevard.
We are looking for participants interested in decorating their car trunks or truck beds with their favorite Halloween themed decorations. Trunks will be on display along “Halloween Street” at the City of Pompano Beach’s Halloween Event. City employees will provide candy to all cars. No outside candy will be allowed.
Trunk or Treat on Halloween Street will provide a safe and fun way for families to enjoy Halloween! Children will “trick or treat” for candy out of decorated car trunks or truck beds. Be sure to make your decorations and costumes count as there will be prizes for the best decorated trunk!

Fall Harvest Festival
Each year, during the month of October, the City of Sunrise hosts its annual Fall Harvest Festival at Welleby Park. Residents and non-residents are invited to bring the whole family for an afternoon of games, music, arts and crafts, and face fainting. Seasonal touches include costume contests, horse-drawn hay rides and an old fashioned pumpkin patch (pumpkin prices vary according to size).
