Museum of Discovery and Science is making community waves…
- Walmart partners with Museum of Discovery and Science to offer “$5 Days” admission on select days in 2010 and 2011. Visitors can explore hundreds of hands-on exhibits at the Museum for just $5 per person on Saturday, January 8 and June 4, 2011.
- From October 2, 2010 January 9, 2011 Clyde Butcher’s Wilderness of America photography exhibit will be open, at the Museum of Discovery and Science.
- Ford partners with Museum of Discovery and Science to salute scouting by offering free exhibit admission to Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts during September and October 2010

- The Broward Performing Arts Foundation announced this month that accomplished cultural administrator Judith Carney has taken the post of Director of Campaign Development at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts.
- Florida Grand Opera has introduced an iPhone App – useable on iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad devices. This powerful yet easy-to-use FGO Application is available for free download immediately at the Apple App Store. The iPhone App provides instant access to events, tickets, music, video, and insider buzz, and invites fans to share photos, comments, and more! The app will be available for other mobile devices in October, 2010.
