DUI checkpoint Friday night in Oakland Park, Hollywood (Hard Rock)
Broward Sheriff’s Office DUI Task Force and district personnel, in conjunction with other agencies and municipalities, will be conducting a DUI checkpoint operation at 10 p.m. Friday, May 28 till 3 a.m. Saturday May 29 at 1033 E. Oakland Park Blvd, Oakland Park. They will be actively enforcing DUI laws and identifying impaired drivers.
The checkpoint coincides with Florida’s Click It or Ticket enforcement wave.
This news release is being issued in compliance with a Supreme Court ruling mandating prior announcement of selective enforcement activities.
