Bongo’s Cuban Cafe opening at Seminole Paradise in Spring 2010

The rhythm and flavor of Bongos Cuban Café is gonna get you when it salsas its way into Seminole Paradise at the Seminole bongosHard Rock Hotel & Casino in the spring of 2010.

The cutting edge Cuban-inspired venue will be located across from Hard Rock Live and will include two outside dining areas, one featuring an open air Cuban street festival setting and the other a portico with an indoor/outdoor bar and open grill for late night dining. The main dining room is designed as a Cuban supper club, with tiered seating, custom upholstered banquettes, dual drum kits over the bar and a 25 foot open display rotisserie.  Twin glass elevators whisk you up to the roof bar featuring a collection of built in cabanas and open air cocktail seating, as well as two additional bars, a VIP tower and high rollers suite. The cool soothing white palette reflects a modern tropical aesthetic and brings to Florida a fresh and contemporary expression of traditional Cuban culture.

Bongos Cuban Café will feature the glory days of Cuba’s tropical ambience, musical style and authentic cuisine. Inspired by the personal flair of its founders, International Superstar Gloria Estefan and her Grammy-Award winning husband, producer Emilio Estefan; Bongo’s Cuban Café will add a new dimension of entertainment and dining to the immensely Emilio & Gloria memorabilia-210popular nightlife and restaurant scene at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

“We couldn’t be more honored to become a part of the Seminole Paradise Family. First with our music and now with our restaurants and hotels Gloria and I are able to showcase our Latin roots on a world-wide stage. Opening at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is the next step in what we believe will be a global partnership,” says Emilio Estefan

Currently there are on-going discussions to expand Bongos Cuban Café in other international Hard Rock properties both inthe US and abroad.

“We are very excited to welcome this partnership with the Estefan’s and Bongos here at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino – Hollywood,” said James Allen, CEO of Seminole Gaming & Chairman of Hard Rock International. “Bongos fills a void in Seminole Paradise by offering our first Latin-themed restaurant and lounge. We feel like the Seminole Hard Rock has something to offer everyone and Bongos will be a unique and prized addition to our property.”
