Ft. Laud police investigating bank robbery
The Fort Lauderdale Police department is investigating a bank robbery that occurred Dec. 11 at approximately 2:30 P.M. at a Bank of America. The robbery took place at 3030 West Davie Boulevard.
Preliminary investigation has revealed that a black male entered the bank and approached a teller. Once at the teller, the suspect made verbal demands for money and he implied that he had a weapon. The teller in fear for her life handed over an unspecified amount of cash and the black male exited the bank on foot accompanied by a black female.
The male is described as being approximately 6’00”-6’02”, 200 pounds, and was last seen wearing no shirt with blue jeans. The suspect was described as being in his fifties. The female was last seen wearing a black spaghetti strapped shirt, with blue jeans, and a blue baseball hat. The female also had on a belt made out of handcuffs. She is described as being approximately 5’4”, 120 pounds and in her thirties.
