Special public meeting on neighborhood development criteria revisions project on Nov. 4
PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD SPECIAL PUBLIC MEETING
ON NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT CRITERIA REVISIONS PROJECT
TO TAKE PLACE ON NOV. 4, 2009
The Planning and Zoning Board, shall hold a special public meeting on Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at 6:30 PM or as soon thereafter as the same may be heard in the City Commission Chambers, City Hall, 1st floor, 100 North Andrews Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, Florida to discuss The Neighborhood Development Criteria Revisions Project: protecting the best qualities of Fort Lauderdale neighborhoods. This discussion includes possible future amendments to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Fort Lauderdale, Volume II, Unified Land Development Regulations, (ULDR) to implement proposals.
Topics of discussion include:
* Issues related to neighborhood development;
* Creating a vision for future neighborhood development; and
* Making recommendations for new guidelines to preserve neighborhood character
All interested persons are invited to appear at said meeting and be heard with respect to the proposed amendments. Information on this project may be obtained from the Planning and Zoning Services, City Hall Annex, 700 N.W. 19 Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, during normal business hours.
All interested persons are also invited to attend one or both of two (2) Open House sessions with City of Fort Lauderdale Planning and Zoning Department staff and the project consultant which shall be held on Thursday, November 5, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on the 8th Floor, City Hall, 100 North Andrews Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
