Seminole Casino Coconut Creek to bring Las Vegas to town Labor Day Weekend

Las Vegas will come to Coconut Creek Labor Day weekend as the Seminole Casino Coconut Creek presents shows featuring tributes to Elvis Presley, The Rat Pack (Frank Sinatra, Sammie Davis Jr., and Dean Martin), songs made famous by Wayne Newton, Barry Manilow, Frankie Valli, Tony Bennett,  Robert Goulet, and Tom Jones, as well as Chris MacDonald trishot 300dpiperformances by The Sands Quartet and dancing Vegas showgirls.

Chris MacDonald, arguably the world’s best Elvis Presley tribute artist, will kick off the long weekend with his show, “Memories of Elvis” direct from Las Vegas on Friday, Sept. 4, at 8 p.m.  Tickets are $15, available at the casino’s cashier’s cage.

The Rat Pack will perform free for one hour sets in the casino’s Nectar Lounge on Saturday, Sept. 5 at noon, 3 p.m., and 6 p.m.; and on Labor Day at 3 p.m.

The Sands Quartet, a Vegas lounge style group with female vocalist will appear for free in the casino’s Sunset Grill on Saturday, Sept. 5 and Sunday, Sept. 6 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. and on Labor Day from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.

The Best of Las Vegas is a show featuring vocalists as well as a bit of comedy while performing songs by Wayne Newton, Elvis, Barry Manilow, Frankie Valli, Tony Bennett, Robert Goulet, Tom Jones, and others during one hour sets in the Nectar Lounge on Sunday, Sept. 6 at noon, 3 p.m. and 6 p.m., and at 1 p.m. on Labor Day.

Vegas showgirls in full costume will dance on the gaming floor three times daily, also during Labor Day weekend.

On Labor Day the Legendary JC’s (Joint Chiefs) will perform free of charge in Seminole Casino Coconut Creek’s pavilion from 5 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.  The dynamic seven-piece band has opened for James Brown, B.B. King, Al Green, and Dr. John with their brand of soulful rocking blues. There will be no charge to attend this concert.
