FLOW bus in Coconut Creek

The FLOW bus -  Florida License on Wheels – will be visiting the City of Coconut Creek on Wednesday, October 7, 2009, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  It will be set up inside the Coconut Creek Community Center at 1100 Lyons Road.

You will be able to renew or replace your Florida Driver’s License or ID card and now, you can renew or replace a lost vehicle or vessel registration. You will not be able to take written exams or driving tests, nor can you register a new vehicle or vessel.

Customers wishing to obtain a driver license or ID card must bring an original or certified copy of their birth certificate and proof of their Social Security number. DHSMV provides a complete list of acceptable identification documents at www.flhsmv.gov/ddl/faqkeys.html.  Customers also need to bring proof of their residential address because driver licenses and ID cards no longer show non-residential addresses, such as a post office box number.  Payment accepted in checks or cash.  No appointments are necessary.

For more information, call the Community Center at 954-545-6620.
