Broward health department meeting to discuss HIV prevention plan
The Broward County Health Department announces an open house of the Broward Community Planning Partnership on Thursday, March 26, 2009 starting at 2:00pm. The Open house meeting will be held at the Broward County Health Department – Administrative Center Auditorium (780 SW 24 Street, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33315). The open house is an effort to inform the community of the next steps in the process of writing the 2010-2012 HIV Prevention Plan for the County.
The Broward Community Planning Partnership (BCPP) is the group that guides HIV prevention in Broward County, along the Broward County Health Department (BCHD). Members of the BCPP are from diverse communities, local and government agencies. The primary task of the BCPP is to develop a comprehensive HIV prevention plan that includes prioritized target populations and a set of prevention activities/interventions for each target population.
