100 Outstanding Women of Broward honored at gala
Last week, 100 Outstanding Women of Broward County were honored in a festive gala at the Signature Grand in Davie.
The dinner was intended to “bring the Community together to celebrate how far women have come in leadership roles in the business, community and philanthropic fields.” In all, over 1,000 people a
ttended the silent/live auction, fashion show and dinner recognizing 100 fabulous women in the community.
All the benefits from this special event will benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County and the Susan B Anthony Recovery Center. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County (BGCBC) is a non-profit 501(3) © private agency dedicated to helping young people improve their lives by building self esteem.
The Susan B Anthony Recovery Center is the only residential treatment program in Broward County that houses mothers with their children while providing the intensive services needed to “STOP THE CYCLE” of family dysfunction and substance addiction. SBARC addresses the special issues that women face while in recovery from the disease of substance addiction while keeping the family intact andout of the foster care system.
