Emergency Home Energy Assistance for the Elderly Program in Miramar

The City of Miramar Social Services Department is currently assisting seniors through the Emergency Home Energy Assistance for the Elderly Program at the City of Miramar Multi-Service Complex.This E.H.E.A.P. program provides emergency home energy assistance to low-income households with at least one member 60 years of age or older. The individual or family must be experiencing a heating or cooling emergency in the form of a final notice bill from FPL or a disconnection notice.

Eligible households may receive one benefit for a maximum of $600.00 in the cooling season and one maximum benefit in the heating season.
