Coral Springs accepting grant applications for Coral Springs events
The City of Coral Springs is currently accepting applications from non-profit organizations interested in receiving grant funding to produce special events for the benefit of Coral Springs residents.
Applicants must have documentation of 501C(3) status and incorporation as a business in the State of Florida. Events must be held between April 1, 2010 and September 30, 2010 to qualify for this second round of funding for fiscal year 2010. Applicants may request up to a maximum of $5,000, but final amounts will be decided based on committee recommendation.
Events must be held in the City of Coral Springs. Applications will be accepted in the following categories: cultural, educational, business, health and environmental. Events should be of broad interest to the community at large and must be held on a single day or as a weekend celebration. Please note that programs held on a regular basis are not considered special events and are not eligible.
