Miramar commissioner Davis opens satellite office
City of Miramar Commissioner Alexandra Davis has opened a satellite office at the Fairway Park Complex. Residents and business owners are invited on Tuesday, February 8th, 2011, to join Commissioner Davis at her Satellite Office Opening from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. where residents and business owners will be able to meet Commissioner Davis and obtain valuable information on crime, foreclosures, small business development, as well as general City services.
Commissioner Davis wants to be accessible to residents. “It is important to me as a Commissioner to be available to meet Miramar residents where they live and hear their concerns. Currently, we have a variety of services that we bring to residents in historical Miramar and I believe that this will be a welcomed extension. Anything to aid in bringing City Hall to the people and make it more convenient for residents to speak face-to-face with me to discuss their concerns and address those issues that are most important to them is the basis of my commitment to serve” stated Commissioner Davis. “My hope is to expand on this concept by introducing a satellite office in another area of Miramar at some point in the not too distant future,” added Commissioner Davis.
