Dog days at Broward water parks

WHAT: Broward County Parks and Recreation presents the K-9 Splash Series, for dogs ages 4 months and up, at the water parks at three regional parks: Castaway Island at T.Y. Park in Hollywood (October 23 and 24), Paradise Cove at C.B. Smith Park in Pembroke Pines (October 30 and 31), and Splash Adventure at Quiet Waters Park in Deerfield Beach (November 6 and 7). Admission is $5 per dog per 50-minute session, with sessions beginning on the hour from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (the 4 p.m. session is for small dogs only, and dogs are limited to a total of two sessions).

Info here:

Dogs will be off leashes and free to play in the water parks. Balls and Frisbees will be provided; no outside toys or dog food/treats will be permitted. Lifeguards will be on duty. All dogs must be up to date on all vaccinations and have proof of current rabies vaccination. Dogs who are not sociable and well-behaved will be asked to leave. No people will be allowed in the water with the dogs. Food and beverages, including doggie ice cream, will be available for purchase.

Donations will be accepted for the homeless animals at Broward County animal shelters. All donations are 100 percent tax-deductible. The money is used to purchase much-needed medicine, support the foster program, increase adoptions, and purchase animal equipment and supplies. Donations of new and gently used supplies (dog beds, towels, collars, leashes, canned food, treats, etc.) are also accepted.
