Tropical storm warning extended north to Deerfield; Bonnie wobbling

Tropical storm Bonnie

We’ll have to see what South Florida wakes up to Friday morning, but the tropical storm warning has been extended to Deerfield Beach. Bonnie hasn’t strengthened much this evening, and the convection isn’t deep in the storm. Forecasters predict minimal strenghtneing of Bonnie before she comes ashore sometime on Frday.

The National Hurricane Center said that the center should come across South Florida or the Keys on Friday. The bulk of a tropical storm usually resides in the northeast quadrant of a storm, so expect to wake up to windy and wet conditions Friday morning.

Get the indoor entertainment ready for the kids, grab a bottle of wine and get cozy with your family. Or stop by one of your favorite watering holes in Broward County to wait out the storm.
