FBI looks for bank robbers Plantation, Miramar, Miami thefts

The FBI is releasing photographs from a bank robbery that took place on Monday, April 12, 2010 at Eastern Financial Federal Credit Union, 2500 S. University Drive, Miramar, Florida at around 10:30 a.m. Three robbers walked into the bank armed with handguns and initiated a takeover style bank robbery. They ordered the customers and employees to the ground and then demanded to be let in behind the teller counter.

Subject #1 and Subject #2 guarded the lobby area while Subject #3 quickly took money from each teller drawer placing it in a light colored canvass bag. Subject #3 then ordered the bank employee to let him into the vault where more money was taken. Subject #3 had attached to his chest what was described as a vest with pipes, making it to look like an explosive device. Subject #3 left the bank after one of the other robbers banged on the vault door and told him they needed to leave.
