Top Chef Contestant in Whole Foods Market Lifestyle Center Oct. 3

On Saturday, October 3rd from 6:30pm to 8:30pm the Whole Foods Market Lifestyle Center will be hosting Chef Ron Duprat, a contestant on Top Chef Season 6: Las Vegas, while raising money for Florida Introduces Physical Activity and Nutrition to Youth (FLIPANY).

Attendees will be treated to a cooking demonstration by Chef Ron of the Chilean Sea Bass recipe that he used in one of this season’s Quick Fire challenges and will also learn various cooking tips and inside information on the show.  Complimenting wine will be served.

Chef Ron is Executive Chef of the Hollywood Beach Marriott and a board member of FLIPANY. A native of Haiti, Duprat began his cooking experience at the side of his grandmother and studied at the College Aimee Cesaire and La Varenne Ecole de Cuisine.  In addition to working with FLIPANY Chef Ron is affiliated with the Black Culinarians Association, The American Culinary Federation, Real Men Charities, and the College of Culinary Arts in Miami, FL.

The Whole Foods Market Lifestyle Center is located next door to Whole Foods Market at 2000 N. Federal Highway, Ft. Lauderdale.
