Coral Springs mayor joins neighborhood coalition

Coral Springs Mayor Scott Brook has become an official member of the Building Generations Neighborhood Coalition. He joined the program today, September 1.

The Building Generations program works with low income seniors and families in an effort to bring them together to provide access to the beginnings of the good life. This includes education and training that leads to a stable job, enough income to support a family and a solid health program.

“I am honored to join the Building Generations neighborhood coalition,” said Brook. “Building Generations is a promising initiative that has the potential to bring a level of certainty and opportunity into the lives of many families that call Coral Springs their home.”

On  June 6, the Building Generations Initiative held its first community wide event, a free Financial  Literacy Fair for Coral Springs residents.

Building Generations is administered by ARC Broward and is supported by the United Way of Broward County.
