Swim advisory for Hallandale Beach

Broward County Health Department officials are recommending people not swim at the beach near Hallandale Beach Boulevard at A1A in Hallandale. Samples of beach water collected at this area did not meet recommended state requirements. All other beaches in Broward County tested satisfactory.

The beach near Hallandale Beach Boulevard at A1A has been retested today with new results available later tomorrow afternoon and posted at (As of Sunday, 10 a.m., the advisory was still effective.)

This advisory is effective immediately and continues until further notice.
