Coloring Away Pain Foundation sending books to Haitian children

The Foundation for Coloring Away Pain is rapidly responding to the needs of affected children in Haiti in the wake of a devastating earthquake that has left many homeless and without their families. With the help of Marie Rador of Cooper City, Fl, the Foundation has translated their books, “The Day the Earth Shook” and “Special Memories” into French for use in Haiti. The Foundation plans an initial delivery of 10,000 coloring books and sets of crayons to the Haitian children.

The Foundation has over 25 titles available in several languages ready to donate to children in times of crisis to aid in their emotional recovery. Donations are urgently needed to make this delivery to Haiti a reality. Donations can be made online through PayPal at the website, www.coloringawaypainfoundation.org.

The Foundation for Coloring Away Pain is a registered 501(c)3 organization, founded in 2006, in response to Hurricane Katrina. Since its inception, the Foundation has responded to numerous situations that affect the lives of children by providing coloring books and crayons in their most desperate hours of need.

More information about the Foundation for Coloring Away Pain can be found at www.coloringawaypainfoundation.org or on Facebook. All donations are tax deductible.
