Hollywood Beach Cleanups: Keep Broward Beautiful!
Join us in keeping Hollywood’s beach clean! Groups are welcome to join us! Volunteers are needed to collect liter along the beach. Before the beach clean-up, Keep Broward Beautiful will provide an informative presentation.
Dates: January 23rd, February 13th, March 13th, or April 3rd
Time: 9:00am to 12:00pm (noon)

Office Volunteer

Position: Office Volunteer
Dates: December 21st – 30th
Time: 8:00am to 5:00pm (hours flexible)
Volunteer Description: Volunteer will pack files into boxes and scan documents into the computer.
Age Requirement: At least 16 years old or older

LONG-TERM OPPORTUNITIES:

Position: Office Volunteer
Days: Monday – Friday (days flexible)

Volunteer Description: Volunteer will file documents and perform other clerical duties.

Office Volunteer
Department: Budget/Procurement Services
Days: Monday – Friday (days flexible)
Time: 8:00am to 5:00pm (hours flexible)
Volunteer Description: Volunteer will assist in general office tasks such as filing, light typing, and archiving.

Office Volunteer
Department: Community Development & Code Compliance

Volunteer Description: Volunteer will assist in scanning documents.

Department: Fire Rescue & Beach Safety

Volunteer Description: Volunteer will assist in general office tasks such as filing, light typing, answering phones, and archiving.

College Intern
Department: Intergovernmental Affairs
Days: Monday – Friday (days flexible)
Time: 9:00am to 4:00pm (hours flexible)
Volunteer Description: Intern will work on documenting and researching the City’s green practices and initiatives for the FGBC application. Candidates should be majoring in urban planning, engineering, or environmental studies.
Age Requirement: At least 18 years old or older
Number of Volunteers Needed: 1

German Translator
Department: Records & Archive Division
Days: Monday – Friday (days flexible)
Time: 8:00am to 4:00pm (hours flexible)
Volunteer Description: Volunteers will translate German documents and scrapbooks by a renowned Hollywood photographer. Proficiency in Microsoft Word is required.
Age Requirement: At least 14 years old or older
