Firefighters helping cancer center, food bank through Dec. 12

Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) Local 4321 is helping several worthwhile causes this holiday season. From 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 6th at the Weston Town Center Publix, firefighters will hold a car wash to benefit the Children’s Cancer Care Center and food drive to restock the Daily Bread Food Bank.

The firefighters will be collecting new, unwrapped toys for the Children’s Cancer Care Center’s annual holiday party on December 12th. They will also collect non-perishable foods for the Daily Bread Food Bank, which lost its supply in a recent fire.
