County commissioner holding town hall in Margate Dec. 10

The economy, budget concerns, environment, public transportation and the outlook for the future are just some of the general topics that Broward County Commissioner Kristin Jacobs will discuss at a town hall meeting in Margate on Thursday, December 10, at the Northwest Focal Point Center, , beginning at 6:30 p.m.

This is the last of a series of town hall meetings that Commissioner Jacobs scheduled in cities throughout District 2 in the past year.

“Hosting a meeting in the evening makes it easy and convenient for those who may not want to travel downtown or to my district office to meet with me,” said Commissioner Jacobs. “It also gives me an opportunity to bring residents up to date on County issues that impact all of us and discuss their concerns and ideas.”

If you are unable to attend the town hall meeting, please feel free to email Kristin at or phone for an appointment to discuss your issues and concerns. To see what Kristin’s been doing on behalf of District 2 and Broward County, or to subscribe to her e-newsletter visit www.broward.org/jacobs.
