Parkland University is a student leadership program that offers high school juniors, who are Parkland residents, the opportunity to learn more about themselves and their community.  On program days at City departments, you will meet the leaders from your city, government agencies, and other organizations in the community. Women’s Issues Support Group: THUR OCT 1 & 8 10:00AM-11:00AM
This group will be held weekly.  The Women’s Issues group provides an environment in which problems, conflicts, tragedies, and triumphs can be shared and discussed with other women.  This group is free of charge and for women of all ages. The group is led by counselors from the Center for Group Counseling.  More Info

Senior Class  Cardiac Wellness: MON OCT 5
Participants in this beneficial class will get expert advice from Dr. Alan Rosenbaum, cardiologist, about cardiac wellness. Participants will learn secrets to stay fit and have healthier hearts. This class will be held in the Parkland Library from 1PM-2:30PM .  This class is for participants 62 and older. No fee. Parkland Residents only.  Class is limited to 25 participants.  Advance registration required.  More Info
