Dancing with the Stars Mazo, Sliwinska in Coconut Creek Saturday to teach dancing

Local dance enthusiasts, whether they are experienced or novice, can enjoy workshops, private lessons, a special performance and open dancing with ABC’s hit TV show “Dancing With The Stars” professional dancers Edyta Sliwinska and Alec Mazo at Goldcoast Ballroom in Coconut Creek. Sliwiniska and Mazo will give four 45-minute workshops: one covering the cha-cha, one the rumba, another the samba, and another the jive. In addition, they will be giving private lessons. Following an open dancing session for all who would like to participate, Sliwinska and Mazo will give a performance, followed by a question and answer session and photographs.

Workshops:
Cha-cha: 11-11:45 a.m.
Rumba: 12-12:45 p.m.
Samba: 1-1:45 p.m.
Jive: 2-2:45 p.m.
Open Dancing: 7:30 p.m.
Performance: 9:30 p.m.

COST: Each workshop is $20 per person. Participants can attend all four workshops for only $65 per person. Guests may enjoy the evening of open dancing plus Sliwiniska and Mazo’s performance for $40 per person.
