Worldwide Day of Play Sept 26

The City of Coconut Creek Parks & Recreation Department is calling all elementary school students to be a part of Worldwide Day of Play, Saturday, September 26, 2009.

Worldwide Day of Play is a day dedicated to the celebration of healthy and active play.  The City has teamed with Nickelodeon, Publix Winston Park and Logo Shirts to encourage kids to turn off the television, get up, get out and play!

Worldwide Day of Play is from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Community Center, 1100 Lyons Road.  There will be planned games and activities for children, followed by healthy snacks and beverages, provided by Publix Winston Park

Participation is limited to the first 100 children who register.  Worldwide Day of Play is open to children in Kindergarten through 5^th Grade.  You can register through September 21 at the Community Center at 1100 Lyons Road.  .  All participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt, provided by Logo Shirts (www.logoshirts.com).
