Two NBMC docts named MVPs

Every quarter, Broward Health North Broward Medical Center recognizes two outstanding doctors as Most Valuable Physicians (MVP). This quarter’s MVP recipients are Mohammed Baig, MD, and Kenneth Monson, MD.

“We are thrilled to present the MVP award to these two very deserving physicians,” said Pauline Grant, CEO of North Broward Medical Center. “Their hard work, dedication and compassion to both patients and hospital staff make them a priceless asset to our family here at North Broward Medical Center.”

Dr. Baig is triple board certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine, Geriatric Medicine and Internal Medicine. He received his medical degree from Siddhartha Medical College in Vijayawada, India and has been an active member of the medical staff since October 2001. Dr. Baig was nominated for this award by his staff and peers for his professionalism, respect for others and team mentality.

Dr. Monson is a Radiation Oncologist who has been on the medical staff since 1973. He received his medical degree from Northwestern University and is board certified in therapeutic radiology. Dr. Monsons’ nominations praised his dedication, ability to connect with patients and his passion for patients’ rights.

Both Dr. Baig and Dr. Monson exemplify Broward Health Star Values of ‘Exceptional Service to our Community, Collaborative Organizational Team and Valuing our Employee Family.’
