If the weather is warm you can go to a beach near you and enjoy a day in the sun. Take a picnic and enjoy a relaxing day. You may even meet some nice folks while you are there.

A train trip is a great vacation when you are traveling alone. Pick out a destination that you would like to go to like The National Parks Of The West, or the Canada Snow Train. As you ride you can find many interesting people to talk to. You can enjoy the scenery as the train takes you along the track effortlessly. Enjoy a meal in the dining car or simply read a book.
