Then come out for the SBCF 2011 Decomedian Contest hosted by the IMPROV and DECO DRIVE!
The 6th Annual South Beach Comedy Festival once again teams up with the IMPROV Comedy Club to find the funniest talent in South Florida for the 2011 Decomedian Contest!
Come, perform your best material at the Festival’s open call:
Monday, February 7th 3 – 8pm
IMPROV Comedy Club

Coconut Grove, FL 33133
This open call is for contestants only. Come prepared with 3 minutes of your funniest material. Please keep it TV clean … No Blue Material.
Finals take place on Wednesday, February 16th at the IMPROV. Be sure to bring your friends.
WSVN/Channel 7′s Deco Drive is filming the finals and will air segments on Deco Feb. 21 – 25th for viewers to cast their vote for their favorite comedian. Winner will be announced on Deco Drive February 28th, 2011. Many finalists of the contest have taken part in their own show during the South Beach Comedy Festival Schedule of events (March 2nd – 5th this year) and winners of the contest have also gone on to spots on national TV shows and tours.
So give it your best shot at the IMPROV on Monday February 7th and this could be your first step to a bigger and funnier career.
