Hollywood, Fla. – During the month of March, the Art and Culture Center of Hollywood will present “2013 Youth Art Month: Ode to the Masters,” an exhibition showcasing art by students from Pembroke Pines Charter Elementary School. Under the direction of art instructor Lucia Romano, this collection includes two-dimensional and three-dimensional pieces, using numerous methods to create realistic and abstract portraits. This exhibition will feature art from students ages 5 to 11, with the inspiration stemming from famous artists and their work. A reception will occur on Saturday, March 9 from 1 to 3 p.m., and the pieces are on view through the month in the Center’s upstairs Student Gallery space, located at 1650 Harrison St.
All public and private school teachers in Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties are invited to exhibit student artwork during the school year using the Center’s state-of-the-art display system. Applications are approved on a first-come, first-serve basis and exhibition slots are limited.

For an application and more information, please call 954.921.3274 or visit ArtAndCultureCenter.org.
