The exhibit hall at the Anne Kolb Nature Center at West Lake Park hosts a free Gallery Exhibit. The show runs from Saturday, March 2 through Friday, March 29. The theme is “Nature – See It While You Can.” The works in the show are by Hollywood artist Larry Joe Miller, who is current president of the Hollywood Art Guild, and some of his friends. There will also be a Reception, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 15.Veteran artist Miller has been president of the Hollywood Art Guild since 2009.The guild, established in 1953, meets monthly on the second Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Hollywood Beach Culture & Community Center (1301 S. Ocean Dr.). Its members are encouraged to participate in friendly art competitions that are judged and offer cash and ribbon awards. These shows are open to nonmembers as well.

The nature center’s exhibit hall is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. There is no charge to view the art exhibit, although there is a per-person fee of $1 to tour the exhibit hall.
