The City of Pompano Beach NW Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) will host the 3rd Annual Light Up MLK Event on Saturday, December 1st at Annie Adderly Gillis Park. This free community event will take place from 5:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. with the ceremonious tree lighting scheduled to take place at 7:00 p.m.

This family friendly event includes live entertainment including musical and dance performances by local community performers. Santa Claus will spread his jolly good cheer throughout the park while handing out candy and taking holiday gift wishes from children.

All event attendees can enjoy complimentary hot dogs and non-alcoholic beverages, interactive festivities including holiday cookie and art decorating, and for the first time a snow play area where both adults and children can join in on the fun.
