Representatives from Palm Beach County government, municipalities, non-profit partners and business interests will descend on the Florida State Capital for the first day of the legislative session which is traditionally celebrated as Palm Beach County Day in Tallahassee. Palm Beach County will be the topic of the day in the Capitol Rotunda and throughout the Capital building. The theme of this year’s event is “The Many Colors of Palm Beach County”.
During the day on Wednesday participants are strongly encouraged to participate in individual meetings with legislators. There will also be a networking boxed lunch in the 22nd floor gallery that will allow attendees to regroup and prepare for the afternoon’s meeting. Meetings are planned with the Governor, members of the Florida Cabinet, House and Senate Leadership and individual legislators. Palm Beach County staff will be available throughout the day Wednesday in the Rotunda to answer questions and spread the word about Palm Beach County.
