Rory McIlroy, the Irish golfer who recently became the world’s No. 1, has just been handed the deed of his new home in an exclusive enclave of Palm Beach Gardens.

Records show McIlroy paid $9.5 million for the modern house at 2380 Old Gate Road, in the Old Gate neighborhood.

The PGA champ bought it under a trust that bears the names of his Orlando lawyer, Richard Fildes, and Philip Barker, a board member of McIlroy’s charity, The Rory Foundation.
