Cirque Du Soleil Totem Promo Team To Appear At Westfield Broward Mall
The Promo Team of Cirque du Soleil’s latest production TOTEM will be entertaining shoppers at the Westfield Broward Mall on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 12:00PM to 4:00PM. The squad will be located near the inside mall entrance to J.C. Penney.
Written and directed by Robert Lepage, TOTEM traces the fascinating journey of the human species from its original amphibian state to its ultimate desire to fly. The characters evolve on a stage evoking a giant turtle, the symbol of origin for many ancient civilizations. Inspired by many founding myths, TOTEM illustrates, through a visual and acrobatic language, the evolutionary progress of species. Somewhere between science and legend, TOTEM explores the ties that bind Man to other species, his dreams and his infinite potential.
The Cirque du Soleil TOTEM Promo Squad will be appearing at the charity event, Forest of Angels, Inc. Forest of Angels is a community event where local businesses purchased and decorated a Christmas tree and compete for votes to see which business has the best tree. Each business selected a charity whose cause they support. The charity will receive a donation on behalf of the business that it partnered with for the event. The top prize is $5,000, second place is $2500, and third place is $1250.
The beautiful trees are on display at the mall for all to enjoy. This is a fun family event and the community is invited to view the display and place votes for the tree or trees of their choice. Everyone who votes will also be placed into one or more raffles for a variety of great prizes. Some of these prizes include Miami Heat tickets, Hotel stays such as Hyatt Place and Double Tree by Hilton, Cirque du Soleil TOTEM tickets.
