Richard Gere is sensational as a troubled fraudulent hedge-fund manager trying to keep up pretenses as his fortunes start dwindling and desperate to complete the sale of his trading empire makes an error that forces him to turn to an unlikely person for help as the cops are on his trail. Co-starring Susan Sarandon as his wife and Brit Marling. Oscar winning performance by Richard Gere with a couple of surprises thrown in at the end. (R) 100 minutes. Three and a half stars.
