Trash 2 Art 2012 Exhibition And Contest Showcases Recycled Art

Thursday night, Trash 2 ART Exhibition and Contest 2012 shown brighter than ever on local artisans displaying creative art utilizing at least 75% recycled materials. With doll parts intertwined with a piece of wood and a model of Fort Lauderdale in the year 2112; the creativity, talent and imagination was inspiring.

Organized by Trash to Treasure Creative Re-Use Center at the JM Family Enterprise Gallery at Art Serve on Sunrise Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale, artists were encouraged to enter the contest for prizes that ranged with entries that ranged from children ages K-5th. grade to professional. With such a wide range of mediums, media, styles and expressions, guests at the reception had much to look at and purchase as well as converse with artists on hand to discuss their works.
