Mark your calendar for the 19th Annual Celebrity Chefs Food Tasting & Auction to benefit the Ann Storck Center at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Friday, September 21.
The Celebrity Chefs Food Tasting & Auction is one of the top kick-off events of the season. Tickets are $150 per person or $275 per couple. Each year, the event grows with over 500 people turning out for Broward’s best dining gala. Last year the community came together to raise $320,000 to support the amazing programs at the Ann Storck Center.
Among some of the local restaurants confirmed to be a part of the event this year are: 1500 at Eden Roc, Aruba Beach Café, Bamboo Noahs, BlueBell Creameries, Bob Roth’s New River Groves, Brooks Restaurant, Café Prima Pasta, Casa D’Angelo, Chef Elisa’s Catering, Dapur, Galler Chocolatier, Hard Rock Café, Hell’s Kitchen contestant – Robyn Almodovar, Jimmie’s Chocolates, Kitchen 305, Malcolm’s , Oceans 234, Renegade BBQ, Rip’s Sports Bar & Grill, Seminole Hard Rock & Casino, Steak 954, Tatu Asian Restaurant, Timpano, Whole Foods and Wholesome Meals.
The evening begins at 7 p.m. with time to browse the room for the mind-boggling silent auction prizes, the best food, and flavors of South Florida prepared by over twenty top chefs. In a ballroom that takes one’s breath away, guests will enjoy selecting from the best culinary cuisine of South Florida has to offer. Beautifully decorated tables, with assigned seating, makes this event even more enjoyable.
“This not-be-missed event gives our best local chefs an opportunity to show their culinary skills, great food and serve a great cause,” says Ann Storck Center’s Executive Director Charlotte Mather-Taylor. “Food connoisseurs and our loyal followers of the event all agree that the Ann Storck Center’s Celebrity Chefs Food Tasting & Auction is one of the most outstanding fundraisers of its kind.”
“We are so grateful to the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, the chefs and the hundreds of people who participate in this spectacular event to help the Ann Storck Center raise vital funds for the important services they provide,” said Roz Perlmutter, who is the event co-chair together with Joan Ast, Marge Osceola and Doris Sipos.
The benefit is also known to serve up auction items unlike any other with massive gift baskets featuring dozens of luxury items hand-picked, professionally packaged, and decorated. Silent auction items will feature a selection of splendid items, ranging from vacation packages, jewelry, sports items and autographed memorabilia. A unique live auction, called “Bids for Kids,” lets guests make a difference by sponsoring a child attending the Ann Storck Center’s Preschool.
