A few years ago, Regina Spektor was hypnotizing small crowds at hole-in-the-wall venues on New York ‘s Lower East Side . After playing hundreds of shows in and around NYC, Spektor became the talk of the burgeoning music scene.

Taking Back Sunday is a rock band from Rockville Centre, NY, formed by guitarist Eddie Reyes. Current members of the band are Adam Lazzara (lead vocals), John Nolan (lead guitar, back-up vocals), Eddie Reyes (rhythm guitar), Shaun Cooper (bass guitar) and Mark O’Connell (drums).

As part of the world tour supporting their hotly anticipated fourth album, Mirage Rock, due out September 18th, Band of Horses comes to the the intimate Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theatre on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 / 8PM, Tickets go on sale Friday, August 10th @10AM. This is part of the Cruzan Concert Series.
Band of Horses is Ben Bridwell, Creighton Barrett, Ryan Monroe, Bill Reynolds and Tyler Ramsey. Mirage Rock is the follow-up to 2010’s Grammy-nominated Infinite Arms. Recorded at Sunset Sound in Los Angeles, Mirage Rock is arguably Band of Horses’ most cohesive and accomplished set of compositions and performances to date.

Waka Flocka Flame, is a Southern rapper associated with Gucci Mane and his So Icey Entertainment enterprise. Born Juaquin Malphurs he based himself in Atlanta, Georgia, where he launched his rap career. He cites influences that include Eazy-E and Lil Jon in addition to Gucci Mane.
