Additional Closures in Miami-Dade County
° The Arsht Center Box Office is open today until 6pm. Performances of The Donkey Show to go on tonight at 7:30 and 10:30pm, as planned. Tomorrow the box office is closed and The Donkey Show performance is cancelled. Monday hours for the Box Office are TBD.
° Miami Dade College will be closed from 7 pm Sunday and reopen at 6 am Tuesday. Continuing education classes are cancelled on Sunday at Miami Dade College.
° University of Miami will be closed on Monday.
° All Catholic schools will be closed on Monday.

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY FACILITIES’ UPDATES REGARDING TROPICAL STORM ISAAC
(MIAMI, August 25, 2012) – The Miami-Dade County Emergency Operations Center (EOC) continues to monitor Tropical Storm Isaac.
Residents are urged to continue monitoring the storm and complete their personal hurricane preparations. Based on its current track, tropical storm force winds (TSFW) from Isaac are expected to begin impacting South Florida as early as tomorrow morning.
° Miami-Dade County Public Schools will be closed on Monday and will resume regular activity on Tuesday.
° Florida International University will be closed as of 7:00pm tonight, and will resume regular activity on Tuesday.
° HistoryMiami and Miami Art Museum will be closing at 2:30pm today and will remain closed on Sunday.
° PortMiami is open and is scheduled to close tonight at 11:00 pm. The port is scheduled to open on Monday, time to be announced.
° Miami-Dade County Animal Services is not receiving any dogs or cats at the shelter effective immediately and until further notice in preparation of Isaac.
° Vizcaya Museum and Gardens will close at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 25 and all day on Sunday, August 26.
° Zoo Miami will be closed today and Sunday.
° Miami-Dade County golf courses will close today at 4:00 p.m. and will be closed on Sunday.
° Miami-Dade County marinas will remain open for now to allow boaters to make preparations.
° Trail Glades Range will close today at 3:00 p.m. and will be closed on Sunday.
° Camp Owaissa Bauer is closed today and Sunday.
° Redland Fruit and Spice Park will be closed on Sunday.
° The Deering Estate at Cutler will be closed on Sunday.
° Larry and Penny Thompson Park (campground) will remain open.
° Miami-Dade Parks facility closures will be updated as necessary as Tropical Storm Isaac conditions change.
° Miami-Dade County Libraries are closed, and will also be closed on Sunday.
The 311 Answer Center is open 24 hours a day. Residents can call 3-1-1 in Miami-Dade or (305) 468-5900 outside of Miami-Dade County, TDD: (305) 468-5402. Specialists are taking calls in English, Spanish and Creole. Residents can access disaster-related information 24 hours a day on the County’s emergency Web site located at www.miamidade.gov/emergency.
