Local Organization to Donate Needed Stuffed Animals

Coral Springs – During some of the most horrific times that a child can ever have to endure, a simple stuffed animal can calm their nerves and give them a sense of peace.

This simple gesture takes place all over South Florida every single day. Probably not well known to the public, most police officers’ cars and fire rescue vehicles stock this very important, but very unlikely piece of equipment, which can be given to a child at amoment’s notice.

The Coral Springs Fire Department is fortunate enough to be the recipient of more than one hundred of these stuffed animals, thanks to a group who has been making these donations for many years.

The Broward Chapter of The Florida Society of Enrolled Agents, a group of specially designated federal tax professionals, will be giving the Coral Springs Fire Department this gracious gift at their upcoming banquet. The FSEABC knows how important these stuffed animals can be to a child in need, and has made it their goal to put these stuffed animals in the hands of as many police officers and firefighters as they can.

The FSEABC will be making the donation on August 12th, 2012 at the Colony West Country Club which is located at 6800 Pine Island Road, Tamarac, FL. The donation will take place at 12:00 p.m.
